ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Whether you are looking for Distance Education or In School Instruction, Legacy Christian Academy, Inc., has the best curriculum for it! To be consider for admission, please follow the steps indicated below:

• Complete the Online Admission Request 
• Submit any document related to IEP or 504 before the interview
• Attend an Admission Interview (Student Interview)
• Apply for a Scholarship 
• Take the Evaluation / Placemen Test (if needed)
• Await for your admission letter​
• Complete the Enrollment Package (enrollment paperwork)

PROCESO DE MATRICULA

Ya sea que usted esté en busqueda de Educación a Distancia o Educación En La Escuela, Legacy Christian Academy, Inc., consta con el mejor curriculo para ambos! Para ser considerado para admisión, por favor complete los siguientes pasos:

• Complete la solicitud de admisión en línea 
• Someta todo documento relacionado con IEP o 504 ntes de la entrevista
• Asistir a una Entrevista de Admisión (Entrevista al Estudiante)
• Solicitar Beca (Opcional)
• Tomar una Evaluación / Examen de Ubicación 
• Espere por su Carta de Admisión We are happy to assist you!
• Complete el Paquete de Admisión (documentos de matricula)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO FINALIZE ENROLLMENT /

DOCUMENTOS REQUERIDOS PARA TERMINAR SU MATRICULA:

• Last Report Card - it must show ALL quarters grades and Final Grade (Q1-Q4). Also it must state if the student Passed or was Retained. (Ultimo reporte de notas con todas las notas de Q1 a Q4) 
• Student's Transcript is a Mandatory requirement for 9th - 12th enrollees. ( Una Transcripcion de Credito Estudaiantil es mandatoria en grados 9-12.) 
• Birth certificate (certificado de nacimiento)
• Parent/guardian driver’s license (Licencia  o identificacion de los padres)
• 2 Proofs of residence – contact the school for a list of required documents (2 pruebas de residencia: talonario de agua y luz, contrato de rentas, etc.)
• Immunization form FL-680 (Reporte de vacunas)
• Physical exam form by any US doctor within last 12 months (Reporte medico del Fisico)
• Special education documents (IEP, 504, ESOL), if applicable (documentos de acomodaciones o plan individualizado, si aplica)
• Custody court documents, if applicable (documentos legales sobre custodia, si aplica)
• Physician's Statement Document if the student is taking medications at school, is allergic to something and/or if the student can not participate in P.E. (Si el estudiante es medicado, documentacion del doctor indicando el medicamento, dosis y usage.)

Controlled Border Enrollment
Florida has an open borders policy. Controlled Open Enrollment allows a parent from any school district in the state to enroll his or her child in and transport his or her child to any public school, including charter schools, that has not reached capacity. Open Enrollment and Waiting List
Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year ends as soon all available seats are filled. All applications submitted within the Open Enrollment period will have an equal opportunity for admission, regardless of whether they are submitted on the first day or the last day of Open Enrollment.

If the number of applications submitted within the Open Enrollment period exceeds the number of seats available for any grade level, a Waiting List per grade level will be open to determine who is offered a seat at the school. When an available seat is offered, the parent will be contacted via phone and email. The parent will have 3 days to contact us back and confirm is the offer is accepted or not AND to submit all outstanding documentation.  If is accepted, the parent must comply with our Enrollment Process listed above. If the seat is not accepted, we will move to the next person on our Waiting List.  We will attempt to contact the parent only 3 times. Please make sure you leave the correct phone number and email and additional numbers if necessary so you don't miss the opportunity. Enrolling with our Online Registration
Once an applicant has been offered a seat at our school, please print all Enrollment Forms located under Enrollment Tab, Enroll Now, and submit them to our office to complete the registration process.  A dateline for you to complete the process will be set and provided.  We are happy to assist you!

NOTE:  If by your dateline we do not have all your documents, your seat will be offered to the next available student on the waiting list, NO EXEPTIONS!
